Jagadish - Package Overview

Well now I'm living in Bangkok hartica because I had to be more than I expected but hey .. the city itself is not bad Arrive on Friday supercansada since I had gotten up at 4 to catch the plane and I I took the train into the city and from there a taxi. A rickshaw stop before the duped and tried to hit me but ultimately century into reason and reject it. I wanted to earn as much as the home of Fernando airport (300 bats) and was at the center of the city.

Fer I went to receive the landing of his pisazo .. and never better pisazo. Lives in Bangkok's financial center next to a bunch of skyscrapers and next four seasons where Obama was nothing, let luxury.

After my crappy hostels I almost burst into mourn to see the room and the floor .. that well would be there: if I have more time I stay in hand.

On Friday I take a nap while working Fer and then at night we went out with a friend, Noe (born on Christmas day and named him) and Pu his girlfriend. We went to a market very famous street where we ate very well for four hard truth. Then we went to take a birritas an Irish coffee or something and then went home.

The next day I went to see the city one after eating with Fer. I went for Khoasan road which is a street full of tourists, we as a neighborhood apart from Bangkok Bangkok seems not even but rather a street or a street Salou beaches with plenty of bars and all tourists. That bus could review information and where to go as there are plenty of travel agencies. A Fer does not like that street because he says he does not seem to Bangkok but well, if you come here no one is the best place to be the truth, you have everything.

I also saw that there are gardens near this street .. we turisteo!

At night we went out again, this time because he had not come Pu wedding and we were alone Fer, Noel and I, so we could speak Spanish all the time. Here is cool because in bars, usually instead of ordering a drink ask for a bottle. Even if it's just you, the bar keeps you when you return the bottle to come (they put a mark on the level where you have to avoid misunderstandings). We ate and drank whiskey for about five euros each .. a feast of new course.

Then we went to a disco where I was introduced to another gang of Spanish. They all live here and everyone seems to be happy .. of course, unique beaches summer amazing food all the time, and a piece of city .. nothing to do with India (I was trying to compare with the Spanish gang who live in India and our view the same, nothing to see! :)

On Sunday again I take a walk through the city center and saw the lying Buddha had not seen the day before but I thought so!

Sunday night we went to see cloud atlas, a movie that I liked but did not like anyone else, I think because not understood much either. Also I was five months without seeing a movie, maybe that influenced.

By Monday, I stay home with the internet Fer and has to do an interview, I wanted to go to Bangkok.

On Tuesday I finally went pro bus to Kancharaburi, fat mistake. I intended to stay for the people to see the bridge of the river kwai, the famous bridge of the movie if also a waterfall that I had said Fer and a temple of the tigers. Total when we arrived, I got out of the van and saw the rest of the world had a contracted tour I did not have so ask it was and how much it cost. They said they were going to the falls, the bridge did montabas rafting and elephant for 500 baht more (and had paid 200) or about 18 euros.

I enjoyed Laos alot

2005-03-04 10:48:03 by wat2dowat2do

I went in 2001. Bought a "package" from a Bangkok travel agent that included visa for crossing Thai Laos border up at Chang Rai, a boat trip down the Mekong for a few days, overnight accomodation at a french owned riverbank hotel, meals and dropped us off at Luang Prabang. The travel agent also included air tickets from Luang Prabang back to BKK. Not really an organised package tour, so to speak... wonderful experience, but I would warn against hiking or travelling in the back country or in a small group. Read warnings about land crossings. Stick with an organised tour in a mainstream area.
If you're in the region anyways, tack on a few days in Siam Reap in Cambodia. You can fly in and out of BKK. It was as memorable as Laos for different reasons. (architechure vs the people)
