After 2:40 flight in the heart of the night during which, taken by a heavy sleep, we have not even touched the snacks served by smiling hostesses (aficionados meal trays include ..), we landed in Bangkok, Thailand.
So here we are in the queue for taxis (yes at 5:30 am, we have expensive tastes, around the world or not). And here is the first strange: it does not hurry up, nobody walks us over to overtake us or elbowing to win a few centimeters: people are disciplined and wait their turn.
We then got into our taxi (air conditioned!) And I realize that I forgot to take my earplugs (always wanted to use that word). Indeed, no horns, no altercations between drivers, no noise from the street. Oh no, I'm stupid, it's just that here there are traffic lights and road signs! And if someone needs to honk, this is just a melodious pfiouuu!
After a journey during which did not even fear for our lives, we come to one of the liveliest districts of Bangkok. And then, what do we see? Hordes of tourists mop. Already? At 7am? But yes, the future belongs to those who get up early! When suddenly, some details challenge us a little makeup (? De MAQUOI) flowing, low yarn, shirt defeat ... And qu'aperçoit be there? Would it not be a bare shoulder? A knee? A cleavage? But cover it in white that I know see! And most importantly, on the tables of terraces, beers to no end! Giraffes, pints, pints, and even bottles of whiskey! Oh my God, but people are not going to visit the city, they come out of box, they are Effective!
Back to unbridled alcohol and civilization, welcome to Bangkok! MY GOD, THAT IT IS GOOD!

From there a hop on hop uff bus tour is the cheapest way to get around. We went with Happy Tours and did HCMC-Dalat-Nha Trang-Hoi An-Hue-Hanoi all for US$16! I thought we were going to die on the drive to Dalat, turing corners at night with no headlights but don't let that deter you.
Dalat was our fave place in Vietnam. We visited a monk who paints 100 paintings a day and wants to travel t... Burma, back to Thailand that way.
You could do a full circle Bangkok-Bangkok via in this order Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, China, Tibet, Nepal, India, Sri Lanka, India, Bangladesh, Burma.
I am jealous of your opportunity.
